Right now it´s important, what we as consumers can do. Believe me that we can DO A LOT. You need to understand that the lives of millions of innocent living beings are in our hands! While animal experiments in science and medicine are hard to get banned, the use of animals for testing cosmetics, detergents, food and drink should be abolished now. And you can change it. How? Boycott corporations and companies who experiment on animals.
I know that there are many people who are sensitized to the issue of animal testing but simply don't know what products they should avoid. I've known even many vegans who unknowingly were buying products coming from cruel producers. One common example is Body Shop - popular chain of natural cosmetics stores - that actually belongs to L'oreal - a multinational that has a lot of blood on its hands.
Below I present you the more complete blacklist of products than I've found. It comes from polish fourm Wizaz.pl, where girls did a fantastic job. Thank you all!
Of course, it stays open because there might be more products that should be included. So I ask you, if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to write to me, I appreciate your help in improving this list.
The first impresion that gives us that list is: "Oh my God, these are almost all products sold in the supermarket!" The best solution I can advise you to do, is to avoid buying products of big corporations. Most of them do not respect animal rights, worker´s rights, nor cares about the environment. So the best thing you can do is to boycott all big business.
Everything depends on us, and it's very important not to participate in the benefit of those who make money from suffering of other living beings. It means that you must be a responsible consumer, supporting local and cruelty-free companies. It's important to adopt ¨"Do it Yourself" attitude and learn to be self-sufficient and ecological. It would not only make us more ethical but will also benefit our health.
